About the team Our finance team is responsible for shaping our understanding of how Stripe is performing as a business, as well as what our best opportunities are for continued growth. We're looking for an experienced financial controller to join our International Accounting team. As a key part of our controllership team in Dublin, you will help us build our technical accounting and financial reporting processes, work with business partners, financial partners, external stakeholders, and our engineers. You will help us develop best-in-class accounting processes and help track our progress within a fast-paced environment that's growing globally. What you'll do As our International Accounting Lead, you will own the end-to-end financial close and statutory reporting processes for our international entities, while leading and developing a high-performing controllership team. You will serve as a technical accounting authority and strategic partner to cross-functional teams across Tax, Treasury, Finance, and Legal. Responsibilities * Lead the end-to-end monthly close of US GAAP books, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness * Oversee the preparation and submission of comprehensive regulatory and financial reporting deliverables * Lead financial statement preparation, audit support, and technical documentation, including presentations to the Board of Directors * Proactively monitor and adapt to changes in global accounting and tax regulations to mai
