Our team is at the forefront of new technology, helping founders and their companies impact and change the world. The Role We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Controller and will work closely with Assistant Controllers, Fund Accounting Managers and other finance staff. The primary responsibility of this role is portfolio company wire confirmation as well as the related general ledger entries and preparation of financial statements. We use enterprise software (AllVue, Anaplan, Qval, Salesforce, HazelTree) for efficiency and scale. This role requires an in-office presence 2 days a week in our San Francisco, CA or Menlo Park, CA office. Generate capital call and distribution mailings Perform wire verification checks, prepare purchase, valuation and other entries Assist in cash and stock distributions Maintain portfolio tracking reports Work in a coordinated manner with the team to complete quarterly and annual financial statements Coordinate with portfolio company counsel and internal legal team as necessary Assist with documentation in accordance with SEC guidelines Assist Controller/Assistant Controller with projects as needed To join our
