Sr. QC Engineer - Welding | Qatar

We are hiring an experienced Sr. QC Engineer - Welding for a reputed company in Qatar . Key Responsibilities • Monitor and implement QA/QC procedures for welding and fabrication activities • Review WPS, PQR, WPQ, ITP, welding procedures, and inspection reports • Ensure all welding activities comply with project specifications, codes, and standards • Conduct stage-wise inspections for piping, structural steel, tanks, and fabrication works • Coordinate with production, engineering, and client inspection teams • Supervise welding inspection activities including fit-up, visual inspection, dimensional checks, and final inspection • Review and verify NDT reports such as RT, UT, PT, MT, and hardness testing • Ensure calibration status of welding and inspection equipment • Monitor welder qualifications and welding consumable control systems • Prepare QA/QC documentation, punch lists, NCRs, corrective actions, and final dossiers • Participate in internal and client audits • Ensure compliance wi
