The Staff Accountant, International role will assist the US-based Manager and the subsidiary accounting team based in Australia with accounting entries, US GAAP consolidation, month-end close (including reconciliations) and US GAAP to local GAAP adjustments. This role will also assist with researching/understanding reporting requirements when the business is expanding into new international markets. Reporting to the Manager, International Accounting, this role partners closely with FP&A, Tax, Consolidations, Global Revenue and Inventory Accounting, local accounting teams, and external advisors to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across all international operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Responsibilities: Support the daily, weekly, and monthly US GAAP accounting tasks for the foreign acquisition, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Support the month-end close process, including reviewing account reconciliations, posting adjusting journal entries, consolidating into the Hims & Hers’ instance of NetSuite and completing assigned responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner. Support team work products with attention to detail, identifying and correcting errors while wor king with the Manager, International Accounting to enhance processes that improve accuracy and efficiency. Support the review of intercompany transactions and eliminations across subsidiaries. Where required, assist the Australian-based account team with preparation of statutory financial statements and liaise with external auditors. Support accounting documentation, policies, and internal controls. Support assigned Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act of 2002 key controls and ensure performance with no deficiencies. Support due diligence and integration for new market launches and expansions. Support process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
