Ethos is redefining how life insurance is bought, sold, and underwritten. About the role We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing Creative & Brand team. This role sits at the heart of our new products creative engine — supporting IUL, annuities, and new product lines as they launch. You'll be focused primarily on short-form content across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, editing high-performing assets using UGC, influencer content, and stock footage. The creative challenge here is unique: making complex financial products feel simple, human, and worth acting on. Duties and Responsibilities: Edit raw footage into polished DR videos with engaging cuts, transitions, graphics, captions, and sound design optimized for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube Adapt and optimize edits for different platforms and formats, ensuring videos are formatted, captioned, and styled for each channel's distinct language and culture Edit and bring YouTube concepts to life, including longer-form content leveraging b-roll and assets from our internal library Elevate and evolve our influencer allowlisting and UGC videos to help achieve ROAS goals Help translate complex product stories into clear, compelling short-form video that makes new financial products feel approachable Work at high volume directly against briefs as well as concepting and designing net-new creatives — in some cases you'll storyboard and present ideas before moving into production Stay current on video trends, editing styles, and content formats across paid social and bring fresh ideas to the team Collaborate cross-functionally with paid social stra tegists, influencer managers, and other stakeholders to get performance insights and align on creative direction Apply motion graphics and animation to elevate creative across formats Use performance data to inform editing decisions and iterate quickly on what's working Qualifications and Skills:
