Staff Software Engineer, (Platform - FinEng) We're hiring a Staff Software Engineer to join the Financial Engineering team within the Platform organization and own the architecture and long-term technical strategy for the financial data and reporting systems that power Coinbase's financial operations. Financial Engineering partners closely with Finance, Accounting, Tax, and other Platform teams to ensure every dollar and every coin that moves through Coinbase is tracked accurately, reported on time, and fully auditable. You'll define and drive the foundational backend systems that operate at the intersection of engineering rigor and financial precision, building infrastructure that scales with Coinbase's growth across crypto, fiat, and new verticals.
