The incumbent applies foundational expertise in Illumina sequencing, RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq), and single-cell genomics to support intramural research programs. Under the guidance of senior scientists, the employee contributes to experimental design, laboratory workflows, data generation, technology enhancement, and quality control while ensuring compliance with federal safety, security, and data management standards. Major Duties and Responsibilities Performs next-generation sequencing library preparation and sequencing using Illumina platforms, following established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
