BlackSky is seeking a hands-on and experienced Facilities Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance management, planning, and expansion of our Tukwila, WA, Seattle, WA, and Herndon, VA offices. This role will oversee a highly secure satellite manufacturing facility, including clean room and laboratory environments, as well as a Mission Operations Center (MOC). They will ensure a safe, efficient, and reliable work environment that supports business operations and will work closely with IT, Security, and building management to ensure facilities are well maintained and operational needs are met. The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on facilities leader who thrives in a fast-paced, highly technical environment and enjoys balancing strategic planning for the office spaces with daily administrative tasks and operational execution. They are an organized problem-solver with strong customer service instincts who anticipates facilities needs before they become a larger problem. This position is an on-site role, and will report to our Seattle and Tukwila offices five days per week, while managing our office and facilities in Herndon, VA remotely. This role reports to the Vice President, Supply Chain and Production. Responsibilities Lead and manage daily facilities operations across multiple office, laboratory, clean room, and specialized environments to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. Oversee the facilities and operations of our three main offices in Seattle, WA, Tukwila, WA, and Herndon, VA.
