Position Overview: Cresta is looking for a pragmatic, business-oriented Employment Counsel to lead and manage employment law matters across our global organization. This role will serve as the primary legal advisor on employment-related issues, partnering closely with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and executive leadership to support a high-growth technology company operating in multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will have substantial in-house employment law experience, a strong understanding of U.S., European, and APAC employment frameworks, and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Employment Law Counseling Advise People and business leaders on a broad range of employment matters, including hiring, performance management, employee relations, investigations, accommodations, leaves of absence, compensation, disciplinary actions, and terminations. Provide legal guidance on workforce planning, reorganizations, reductions in force, and organizational changes. Partner with Human Resources to develop and implement employment-related policies, procedures, and best practices. Global Employment Compliance Monitor and advise on employment law developments across the United States, Europe, and APAC. Support compliance with federal, state, and local U.S. employment laws, as well as applicable European employment regulations. Partner with external counsel as needed on country-specific employment issues and labor law requirements.
