Apex is hiring a Construction Safety Professional. Travel up to 75% and preferred base within the West Coast(United States). Role Overview: This role will assist an Apex client with occupational safety & health. The incumbent will be involved in preventing workplace injury and risk by completing checklist-based health and safety audits of building plans, buildings under construction and retrofitted buildings. The audits are to ensure that buildings have been constructed in accordance with the building codes as well as safety design standards set forth by the client’s internal engineering team. The role will routinely involve a blend of on-site health and safety auditing and remote desktop work. The site visits routinely require a great deal of walking at multi acre construction sites with uneven ground. The incumbent will interface with client stakeholde
rs, construction teams, developers, engineers, and building occupants to ensure the client gets a safe operational facility. Perhaps most importantly, the incumbent will be an energetic self- starter with the ability to work independently and produce results within budget and timeframe.
