Controllership Director and Chief of Staff to CAO

We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and highly organized Chief of Staff (CoS) to support the Controllership organization, which spans commercial controllership, NPI, accounting and finance operations, M&A and strategic partnership due diligence and integration, tax, and corporate audit. This is a hybrid role — roughly half dedicated to CoS responsibilities and the remainder to special projects and Controllership transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate is a versatile, growth-minded professional who thrives on variety and ambiguity. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to the Controllership leadership team — keeping priorities aligned, operations running smoothly, and key financial and organizational initiatives moving forward. Strong communication skills and a finance or accounting background are essential. What You’ll Do Reports to: Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) Work Location: This role is eligible to be based out of Axon's US hubs located in Boston, New York City or San Francisco and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.
