Legal Counsel (Transactional)

What you'll be doing As our Legal Counsel (Transactional), you’ll be the person who independently owns the drafting, negotiation, and strategy for key commercial agreements across all our business lines. Here's what your day-to-day will look like: Commercial Agreements & Strategic Partnerships – Drafting and negotiating complex B2B agreements across Satispay’s business lines, including employer and merchant agreements for corporate welfare and payment services. You will also structure and manage strategic partnerships from deal inception to execution. Technology, Procurement & Operations – Advising on and negotiating SaaS, technology, procurement, and supplier contracts that keep Satispay running smoothly. Corporate Welfare Tenders – Partnering with the Tender Manager on legal aspects of procurement processes (gare d'appalto), including reviewing and negotiating contracts and tender documentation. Marketing & Advertising – Advising on, drafting, and negotiating agreements for marketing campaigns, advertising, co-branding initiatives, and creative/media agency relationships. Legal Operations & AI Innovation – Leading the improvement of contract templates, legal processes, and negotiation automation in partnership with our AI Team. Who we're looking for We need a problem-solver who loves teamwork and gets things done. If you're curious and ready for real ownership, you'll fit in! Does this sound like you? Legal Background – You hold a degree in law and have at least 8 years of relevant experience in commercial law, complex B2B contracts, and transactional matters across law firms and in-house teams. Qualification as a lawyer is a plus. Sector Experience – Exposure to fast-growing, tech-driven businesses, fintech, or corporate welfare is a strong plus. Ownership & Com mercial Judgment – You can manage multiple transactions autonomously, prioritize effectively, and balance legal risk against business growth. Negotiation Skills – Confident in high-pressure situations, able to challenge counterparties constructively and deliver pragmatic commercial solutions. Business Partnering & Communication – Skilled at communicating clearly, influencing stakeholders, and making complex legal topics simple and actionable. Digital & AI Mindset – Enthusiastic about using and improving digital and AI-enabled legal tools to optimize processes and knowledge sharing. Languages – Fluent in English and Italian.
