We're looking for a talented Application Engineer to join our team and work closely with the people team to drive key technology decisions and innovations within the People experience. About the Role The DoorDash People Application team is looking for a Full Stack Engineer with demonstrated experience and knowledge in application development for talent acquisition and employee experiences. You will interact directly with senior leaders and cross-functional partners across DoorDash to understand requirements, design, build end-to-end solutions, and maintain the supporting services for our applications across diverse technical areas for various people functions, all in sync with our people goals. Support troubleshooting, configuration, testing, and deployment of applications to meet requirements, timelines, and execution standards Train end-users and peers on new processes and functionality as needed We’re excited about you because you have… Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline You have 4+ years of industry experience in software development, ideally in HR-relat ed applications Knowledge of frontend technologies such as JavaScript/Typescript (Node/Express), Python (FastAPI), HTML5, and CSS3, React Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, Cypress, or Playwright for ensuring code quality and reliability
