Controller

As a Controller on the US Finance team in our Santa Monica Office, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing the successful operations of the accounting function. The Controller will be responsible for managing the US finance team, optimizing the financial close process, strengthening internal controls and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. In addition, the Controller will engage in corporate strategy discussions and help us continue to fine-tune the analysis of our business. To thrive in this role, you'll need: Bachelor's, or advanced degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA or other relevant certification is strongly preferred. 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience. Public company and/or public accounting experience strongly preferred. 4+ years of people management experience. Management of other managers and teams of 3+ strongly preferred. High technical accounting skills, and strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX Multi-Entity and multi-currency experience Strong leadership aptitude; ability to mentor talent and foster career development Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and develop positive cross-functional working relationships Ability to foster and manage relationships across multiple departments and disciplines to meet aggressive goals and strict deadlines Excellent project management, organizational, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to address both technical and non-technical audiences Self-motivated and able to balance multiple priorities while managing to deadlines Bonus points if you have: Experience in a global adtech, tech, or digital media environment Knowledge of NetSuite, ADP, and/or Salesforce <span...
