What you'll do We're looking for a Legal Associate to join Clara’s Legal team in Mexico. You’ll play a key role in ensuring Clara’s local operations remain compliant, well-documented, and legally sound. Working closely with our Legal Lead and global teams, you'll manage operational legal work that supports our business goals while reducing risks, with a primary focus on supporting our local Mexican entity and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include: Drafting, reviewing, and organizing commercial contracts, NDAs, and corporate documentation. Providing legal support across internal teams—especially Sales, Finance, and Operations—to ensure interests are well represented. Supporting Clara’s compliance with Mexican regulations, particularly regarding data protection (LFPDPPP) and AML frameworks. Managing communications and deadlines with regulatory bodies, including the CNBV and Banxico, with support from senior counsel. Assisting in responses to administrative requests, extrajudicial notifications, and potential investigations by local authorities. Maintaining up-to-date
legal files and records across tools like Google Drive and Slack. Collaborating with the global Legal team to align on standards and policies across LatAm while ensuring local execution. Who you are We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
