The Department: Legal The Legal department at Gemini is making history every day, as we creatively apply the legacy of law to the future of markets and digital assets. On this team, you will tackle complex and unprecedented applications of the current legal system to the revolutionary industry of cryptocurrency and financial markets. You'll work alongside colleagues covering the digital asset exchange, credit card program, broker-dealer, predictions markets, and institutional/commercial matters - a team operating across the full spectrum of financial services regulation, not just crypto. Join us and help define the Legal Department of the Future. The Role: Product Counsel As Product Counsel at Gemini, you are the ultimate general athlete. Leveraging both breadth and depth of experience at a law firm and/or as in-house counsel, you will help Gemini tackle the complex legal challenges that confront disruptive emerging products and markets. You will support Gemini’s digital asset exchange, credit card and payments, broker-dealer, predictions markets, and institutional business lines — spanning active licensing campaigns, new product launches, and the regulatory landscape as it evolves. By navigating unprecedented legal complexities acro ss Product, Business Development, Finance and Accounting, Technology, and Security, you’ll play a critical role in building our business at the forefront of the future of money. This isn't generalist crypto work: you'll be the point person on regulatory strategy for products spanning payments, broker-dealer operations, prediction markets, and whatever we build next.
