Director, Analyst Relations

Smartsheet is hiring a Director of Industry Analyst Relations to lead our global analyst relations program, nurture and strengthen analyst relationships, deliver exceptional support for research, and lead and inspire a team. AR is a strategic and highly visible function at Smartsheet, and we're looking for an experienced leader ready to build on our strong foundation and drive continued success. You must have a proven track record of leading an AR function, delivering leading positions in major research, and building relationships with analysts, executive teams, product strategy and marketing leaders. Smartsheet is a high growth and diverse business that requires us to engage with and influence analysts in existing and emerging markets - this requires a creative and innovative approach to AR. You will report to the VP, Global Corporate Communications.This role will support West coast hours and can be based remotely or in our offices in Bellevue, WA. You will: Lead execution of Smartsheet's global analyst relations strategy to bolster go-to-market strategies and support key business and product initiatives. Help develop Smartsheet's analyst-facing story to influence mindshare based on Smartsheet's vision, strategy, and key competitive differentiators. Partner across Smartsheet teams at all levels of the organization to tell, support and deliver narrative that ties together technology trends, roadmap planning, multiple use cases and markets. Drive strategy and execution of analyst engagements - inquiries/briefings, advisory days, event sponsorships, analyst roadshows, et c. Own measurement and business reviews of the AR program's impact. Provide regular reports to Smartsheet leadership on analyst engagement and results. Collaborate with product, sales and marketing teams to drive the creation, promotion and enablement of analyst relations content. Refine processes and workflows to continuously improve day-to-day analyst relations operations.
