About the role Ethos is looking to hire an operator with a deep strategy and operations background to stand up and scale new business lines within our fast-growing Direct-to-Consumer business. You'll take new bets from zero to one and then to scale - building the business around them and owning the outcome end-to-end. Our consumer business has endless whitespace - adjacent product lines, new regions, and new go-to-market motions waiting to be built. Your job is to take a new business opportunity from zero to one and then to scale, partnering with product, marketing, sales, engineering, and partnerships to make it real.This is not a role for someone who recommends. It's for a builder and an operator who owns the outcome with a founder mindset. Our team is naturally aligned, truth-seeking, and moves fast. Rather than navigating layers of organizational process, you'll be building the business itself. This is a role with a significant runway. As you prove you can stand up and scale new business lines, the natural path is toward broader general management or product leadership - owning larger swaths of the business over time. If you want to operate at the center of a high-growth consumer business and work with a fast moving AI-native team, this is it. Duties and Responsibilities: Own new business lines from zero to scale. Take a new bet from concept through launch to durable revenue, with full accountability for the outcome. E.g. introducing an adjacent product as cross-sell, expansion into a new audience segment, establishing a new go-to-market mot ion. Set the strategy and sequence the bets. Decide what to build, in what order, and how to win. Then translate that into a concrete plan the whole team can execute against. Build the go-to-market from the ground up. Define positioning and pricing, shape the sales motion and where it plays, and partner with marketing to stand up the channels needed to acquire and convert customers profitably.
