Procurement Programs & Systems Data Manager

Summary The Procurement Programs & Systems Data Manager draws on their extensive knowledge of data and data systems to oversee the electronic transactions of Supply Chain Management in Allegiant Information Systems and other Procurement Programs and Systems. They act as the central touchpoint, representing the Procurement Organization when interfacing with IT, eMRO, and other relevant support teams. The Data Manager oversees relationships with Aeroxchange, aircraft part vendors, and other third-party software vendors to ensure that minimum system standards are met. They continually strive for fully paperless Procurement processes, including Requisitions, Purchasing, Repair, and Invoicing. Additionally, they own reporting and reporting improvements, perform analysis, and provide insights to internal stakeholder groups to identify issues and potential opportunities for improvement. They help maintain reference manuals and resources, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate efforts with Procurement Organization Senior Leadership. Education: Bachelor’s Degree Education Details: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Data Science, MIS, or other relevant Supply Chain degrees. Years of Experience: Minimum four (4) years in programming, database management, or other relevant experience is desired, as well as strong financial experience/education. • Background in materials procurement, analytics, and process management. • Experience in systems support and change management. • Experience in database creation and maintenance. • Strong intellect and aptitude, along with the ability to manage multiple and varied activities. • Ability to initiate technical dialogue and convey required information to various parties. • Ability to analyze datasets and clean data. • Ability to identify data gaps and develop effective mitigation strategies. • Strong leadership and people management skills. • Effective com munication skills. • Ability to prioritize and solve problems effectively. • Some travel may be required. • SQL and Visual Basic coding skills. • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, M365, Power BI, and Microsoft SQL Server. Preferred Requirements • A Master’s degree. • Previous Trax (eMRO), SAP Ariba, or SAP software experience. • Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent certification or training. • Python coding capability. • Understanding of AWS, cloud architecture, and data transformation. • Familiarity with accounting, statistics, and supply chain principles is desirable.
