What you'll do Manage end-to-end HR operations for the Japan office as primary point of coverage, while supporting APAC offices. Support administration and compliance for social insurance and statutory filings, partnering with external vendors to deliver accurate, timely results. Coordinate employee lifecycle activities and movements, including onboarding, offboarding, and internal transfers; manage employment documentation, benefits enrollment, and coordination with other functional teams such as Payroll and Benefits. Partner with Payroll, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and external providers to resolve complex HR operational matters and ensure cross-functional alignment Respond to employee inquiries and manage escalations with clear, timely communication and a solutions-oriented approach Help identify, design, and lead process-improvement projects to increase accuracy, speed, and compliance across HR operations Ad-hoc assignment upon request What's required Minimum 3 years of professional experience in HR operations or the similar, preferably in an international environment Working knowledge of the Japan social insurance system Fluent written and spoken Japanese and English (Chinese is a plus) Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail with a track record of accurate recordkeeping Experience adopting or adapting to AI-enabled tools or processing automation platforms to improve HR workflows Team-oriented mindset with demonstrated ownership, accountability, and ability to collabor ate across functions Strong verbal and written communication skills Commitment to the highest ethical standards We take care of our people We invest in our people, their careers, their health, and their well-being.
