Forsgren, an Apex Company, is seeking a Construction Engineer to support and lead transportation construction projects as part of our Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) team. This position is remote in Idaho with travel and will play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure projects in partnership with state and local agencies. Your Responsibilities as a Construction Engineer: Lead and manage transportation construction projects for ITD and LHTAC. Oversee Construction Inspection staff and provide day-to-day direction and mentorship. Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, including contract administration and documentation. Coordinate with contractors, local highway districts, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Ensure all construction activities comply with ITD and LHTAC standards and specifications. Re view contractor work, quantities, and pay applications for accuracy and compliance.
