About the role The Director of Financial Systems is a hands-on senior leader who owns the strategy and execution of Socure's finance technology stack — including ERP, billing, revenue, and adjacent financial applications. This is a role for someone who understands financial processes deeply, not just the tools that support them, and who can translate that understanding into scalable, automated solutions. Reporting to the VP of Business Operations, they sit at the intersection of Accounting, FP&A, Business Technology, and go-to-market operations, driving the roadmap for core financial platforms with a strong bias toward automation, AI adoption, and data quality. This is not a role defined by headcount. The ideal candidate is a builder and a doer — equally comfortable designing a systems architecture, configuring tooling, or rolling up their sleeves on a billing workflow fix. They form trusted partnerships across the organization and get things done through influence and collaboration, connecting every decision back to Socure's broader goals of growth, operational excellence, and a strong control environment. What you'll do Set the multi‑year strategy and roadmap for Socure’s financial systems landscape (ERP, billing, revenue, and associated integrations), aligning with business objectives and FinOps priorities. Lead end‑to‑end design, implementation, and optimization of core financial platforms, ensuring they support GAAP-compliant accounting, robust internal controls, and high-quality financial reporting in partne rship with Accounting and FP&A. Architect and govern enterprise‑grade integrations between financial systems and upstream/downstream applications (e.g., CRM, data warehouse, HRIS, procurement tools), in collaboration with Business Technology and RevOps teams, to enable straight‑through processing and consistent data.
